These cute cookies and wedding dress cupcakes are from a shower we threw for my cousin's bride to be.

Livestock Cookies
Being agriculturalists, livestock have always been and probably will be a large part of our lives. These cookies are hampshire hogs, boer goats, an angus and charloais heifer and a random Gig'em thumb because, why not?
Quilt Cake
This is a very simple quilt cake I made for my mom one year. She enjoys sewing and quilting so it seemed appropriate!
Belt Buckle Cake
My husband showed cattle growing up and now raises cattle. With that being the case, I thought a belt buckle cake (what you win when you place well at a show) was appropriate for his birthday one year.
Ombre Shell Cake
This is a birthday cake for my sister, so once again, presentation was not important. When people in my family have no birthday cake request, I use them as an excuse to try a new decorating technique. I don't really know what this technique is called, but I loved the result! The fact that there was a ton of yummy icing on it is also a bonus!
Giddings High School Graduation Cake
This huge cake was one of the first cakes I did. I was cussing myself for volunteering to do it, but was very happy with the result! It's four 13x9 cakes combined for a high school graduation party.
Here's a little background on the design...it was for my sister, effectively making me feel old! The idea is that it incorporates important places in her life pre-college and then the road she'll take to college. As an Aggie myself (class of 2012), I'm quite proud of her school choice!
Her high school mascot was the buffalo. Thanks to my awesome husband for helping me draw it!
And of course she became an Aggie. Whoop!!
For those of you fellow Aggies out there, you might notice that this is Kyle Field before the renovations. She graduated in 2014. I can't remember if renovations had started at that point or not...
Everyone in my family enjoys watching Duck Dynasty. The phrase "She Gone" is a play on words from a phrase often used in their show.
